You're
WELCOME to walk our labyrinth any time! A labyrinth is a winding pathway leading
to a center. One reason that it is considered to be a spiritual tool is because it helps us to center ourselves. Answers tend
to surface as layers of confusion dissolve. Walking a labyrinth is also rediscovering the truth that has always been there.
It is, if you will, a slow waltz with oneself on the fertile ground of self discovery................. and the planting of
seeds there.
A
labyrinth is an ancient symbol, sacred geometry that relates to wholeness. It combines imagery of the circle & spiral
into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world.
Labyrinths have been used as meditation and prayer tools.
Walking the labyrinth, an ancient metaphor for one's spiritual journey, helps in quieting the mind, opening the soul
and evoking feelings of wholeness and unity. Many have experienced profound shifts, long awaited clicks and delightful "aha"
experiences. The labyrinth has a threefold structure. Stepping in and walking towards its center is a metaphor for relaxing
into oneself and focusing on what you want to be healed or made whole. By the time you reach the center there is a clear awareness
of the issue at hand which affords you an opportunity for prayer, meditation, tears, joy or whatever wells up from inside
your being. When you feel ready to walk back out into the world, be awake to your new way of being; in gratitude for the healing
experience.
